Kistler Group Awarded Major Contract in India |

The Kistler Group has been awarded the contract for instrumentation of three crash centers for the Indian automobile industry. The client for this substantial deal worth almost twenty million Swiss francs is the autonomous project under Department of Heavy Industries – National Automotive Testing and R&D Infrastructure Project (NATRIP). This means last year's acquisitions by the Business Unit Vehicles of the Kistler Group are already paying off.

The Kistler Group acquired KT Automotive GmbH based in Munich, Germany, in an all-stock transaction on 22 October 2009. This makes Kistler a leading provider of crash measurement systems.

KT Automotive provides a new sensor test device integrated into a Tablet PC. This system provides Bridge supplies for 2.5V, 5V and 10V at a max. sensor current of 40mA and a signal accuracy of 0.5%.
